Dedicated Account Manager
Universal Flooring Systems Ltd. provides clients with large one-time projects, or those with on-going work, with a Dedicated Account Manager as the central contact for all their needs. This individual attends site meetings, and works with the sales and estimating staff and Service Coordinator to ensure that the client’s needs are met and information is conveyed to and from all the parties in a clear and timely manner.
Universal Flooring understands the importance of safety on all construction projects. We have held our Certificate of Recognition (COR) in the Partnership in Injury Reduction Program since 1998.
As part of our commitment to safe work practices we require both our office staff and subcontract installation crews working on our projects to participate in our Health and Safety Program. All office staff and installation crews have current First Aid Certificates and WHMIS certification. Office staff and subcontract installers are required to attend monthly safety meetings where inside staff and installation crews discuss general safety issues and site specific requirements on jobs.
Every installation crew working on a Universal Flooring project is issued a Universal Flooring First Aid backpack containing a fire extinguisher, ear plugs, first aid kit, emergency blanket and an MSDS Binder. Our Service Coordinator holds impromptu toolbox meetings on job sites and hazard assessment sheets must be completed by installation crews on every site prior to the start of every day’s work.
